Go Fishing While Staying at our Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

If you fancy having a go at fishing, whatever your level, just near to our accommodation in the town of Brampton, Cumbria is the New Mills Trout Farm. Having been open for 25 years, they are able to help you with all your fishing needs, as the site includes a sporting lake, ford pool and fishing tackle shop. The two fishing lakes are beautifully located in the middle of the valley with a picturesque 18th century mill house at the centre.

The Ford Pool has just been moved to a new site for bait fishermen, who want to catch and ultimately take home their Rainbow Trout. The Sporting Lake is for those who really want to test their fishing ability, as it contains several large brown trout that provide a real challenge as they put up a real fight. Fish from this lake are caught and released.

Visit New Mills Trout Farm

Visiting New Mills Trout Farm is a great family activity for the day. Children can feed the rainbow trout in the rearing tanks, and there is a coffee shop to sit and take in all the activities going on. Hire of all equipment is available as well as a full range of bait, rods, hooks and all other accessories for sale in the fishing tackle shop.
