We inherited a permanent resident when we bought Tantallon House: a strikingly beautiful owl, shown in the pictures above. As Hoot is unable to survive in the wild, he lives in an aviary and we supply him with natural food and a bit of company. He has proved a very popular attraction with all our B&B guests, and also attracts other owls who visit him at night. He has an impressive wing span and can be viewed very closely.
